Alistair Melville is a music composer/songwriter/producer based on the Sunshine Coast SE Queensland, Australia, he currently produces high quality cues for a USA based company called Studio 51, his studio setup includes Apple iMac running Logic Pro 9.

Most of his high quality digital sampled instruments come from EAST WEST QUANTUM LEAP, SPECTRASONICS & NATIVE INSTRUMENTS, he also speaks very highly of Apogee's Symphony IO which he uses as his main AD/DA converters between his external hardware and his DAW.

His musical influences include the great modern day composers such as John Williams, John Barry, Hans Zimmer & Mark Isham.

Alistair has also entered the APRA Tropscore competition for the first time this year composing 2 scores for the movie "The Exchange".

He continues to work with other solo artists including his sister Coleen who is a wonderful vocalist, songwriter in her own right and is currently working on his latest instrumental album which includes the wonderful Australian guitarists Peter Orr & Chris Dent.
